Our
Values
Staying Grounded.
From the ground we came, and to the ground we will go. We strive to remain mindful of our place in the grand scheme of life on this planet. Mother Nature has provided us with food, shelter and unconditional love. At this point, humans have done enough damage, and it’s high time to reciprocate that love. We are dedicated to staying grounded throughout this journey of healing.
Constant Learning.
Between our team of humans and microbes, we have eons of experience under our belts adapting and figuring out the best soil management practices. As much as we’d like to, we don’t know everything. That’s why we strive to constantly learn. We take in all perspectives, seek feedback, learn from mistakes and adapt to perform better next time.
Compassion.
We started this company because we care. We care for our fellow humans, the Earth and the future we hope to spend together. We care for the fragile ecosystems that make up this beautiful planet, and we feel that compassion is essential to start healing Mother Earth. Along the way, we’re going to heal using a bit of science, and a whole lotta LOVE!
Respect.
Whether you’re a farmer, rancher, gardener, nursery operator or even a lawn enthusiast, we will meet you where you are and encourage you to understand and implement a safe biological approach to managing and growing healthy plants. We do not shame. We are here to heal. And we will do this without the need for costly, toxic chemicals or fertilizers.
OUR TEAM
Our team currently consists of just a few dedicated humans, a dog, and at least a few billion micro-organisms.

The true unsung heroes include the community of microorganisms that make growing healthy and happy plants possible.
Our solution owes it success to the microorganism community that lives in our compost. Teeming with the life giving powers created by the everyday harmony of the microorganism community, our compost exceeds the toughest standards in the industry (set by Dr. Elaine Ingham of the Soil Food Web School).
In any given soil, bacteria and fungi are the main decomposers. They break down organic material and sand, silt or clay particles into component macro- and micro-nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium, copper, boron, iron, manganese, etc.). Flagellates, amoeba and other unicellular creatures known as protozoa consume the bacteria and release excess nutrients in plant available forms. Beneficial nematodes fight off root-feeding nematodes and consume bacteria, fungi or anything that fits in its mouth and also release excess nutrients in plant available forms. In a healthy soil with adequate living organisms, this cycle of nutrients becomes the primary source of food for plants in perpetuity.
